Turn the Bus’s Education Technology Program

With Turn the Bus’s mission being to reduce poverty and income inequality by reducing educational inequality using smartphones, Turn the Bus focal point lies in providing access to high quality educational content via our own EdTech app and YouTube channel. Turn the Bus creates and provides access to high quality curricular educational content in local languages to high school students in rural Bihar, helping them prepare for their annual high school board examinations. Thereafter, Turn the Bus also creates and provides access to ‘green’ livelihoods training content. Turn the Bus is currently enrolling over 20,000 students in rural Bihar who will be our primary beneficiaries.
